Personalisation policy

How artwork is created

Your photo is transformed into each chosen style using image-generation software configured by us, with a human review of every approved artwork before it is sent to print. Results vary with the photo: light, focus, distance and the number of subjects all affect the outcome. We do not guarantee any particular result before you see it — that is what the preview is for.

Your approval

When you approve an artwork, you confirm that you have viewed it at full size and are happy for it to be printed exactly as shown (previews carry a light watermark which is not printed). Once approved and paid for, the artwork is final and production begins. Please check details such as eyes, markings, hands and backgrounds before approving.

Photos you upload

• You must own the photo or have permission from whoever took it and from any recognisable person in it.
• We don't accept photos of people who haven't consented to being depicted, or content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or infringes anyone's rights.
• We may decline to produce an order that breaches these rules and will refund any payment made.

Ownership

You keep all rights to your photo. You receive a licence to use the finished artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes, including printing additional copies for yourself and gifts. We don't use your photo or artwork for marketing without asking you first.

Reprints and refunds

Because the approved artwork is final, we can't remake a piece because you later prefer a different style. We will reprint free of charge if the delivered product differs from the approved preview or arrives damaged — see Returns & reprints.

Retention

Uploaded photos and generated previews that are not ordered are deleted within 30 days. Approved artwork for ordered items is kept for 12 months to handle reprints, then deleted, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
