Who we are

LMARA FZE LLC operates fondkept.com and is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@fondkept.com.

What we collect

• Photos you upload and the artwork generated from them. We keep your photo exactly as you sent it, in private storage, so you can always go back to it; that file may include what your camera recorded, such as when and where it was taken. The copies we work from, send to our image model and print from have that information removed.
• Order details: name, email, shipping address, and what you bought. Payment details are handled by Shopify's checkout — the payment methods on offer are shown there — and never reach our servers.
• Optional descriptions you type, such as a pet's name.
• Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) through our own first-party analytics — no third-party analytics or advertising tags are loaded.

How we use it

• To generate your artwork and show you previews.
• To produce and deliver your order via our print partners, who receive only the artwork file and shipping details.
• To email you about your order, and — only if you opt in — occasional news.
• To measure and improve the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your photos or artwork to train image models. We don't use your photos in marketing without your explicit permission.

Image generation

To create the artwork, your photo is sent to Google's Gemini API under Google's paid-service terms, which do not permit our content to be used to train or improve their models. It is used only to produce your artwork.

Retention

Photos and previews not ordered: deleted automatically after 30 days (uploads that never became artwork after 7 days). Ordered artwork and its production file: kept 12 months for reprints, then deleted. Order records: kept as required for tax and accounting. A scheduled job enforces these periods; backups of our database are held by our database provider for a short rolling window.

Who processes it for us

Vercel (hosting and file storage, United States), Neon (database, United States), Google (image generation), Shopify (checkout and payments), our print partners (only the artwork file and shipping details for your order), and Resend (transactional email). We don't share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to stop marketing, by emailing hello@fondkept.com. If you're in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA; we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined there.

Cookies

We set no advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner. Your browser keeps a small first-party session identifier so an artwork in progress can be picked up again; Shopify sets the cookies it needs for checkout. If that changes, this section and the site will change with it.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
